At Rum Bridge, our well-stocked lakes provide the ideal setting, whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply unwinding with a rod in hand.

To ensure you enjoy you have a fun and safe time fishing at Rum Bridge please ensure you read our Fishing Rules.

Home to Carp, Tench, and other coarse species, our peaceful lakes offer rewarding fishing in a quiet, natural environment. With eight designated pitches around the water’s edge, you can enjoy a relaxed day session, settle in for night fishing, or make it a full experience with an overnight stay in one of our lakeside glamping pods.

Prefer to bring your own gear?
No problem – bivvy tents are welcome in allocated spots for night anglers.

Angling permits:

If you want to fish, you will need to book a fishing permit. Please make sure that those who will actually be fishing, have read the Fishery Rules beforehand. This will be checked on arrival, and anyone who has not read the rules may not be allowed to fish, and no refunds of permits will be given.

Anyone fishing will also need a national rod licence. These can be purchased here: https://www.gov.uk/fishing-licences/buy-a-fishing-licence

Day Fishing Pass – £15pp

  • Access from 9:00am to 7:00pm
  • One pitch included
  • Ideal for relaxed daytime sessions
  • 8 pitches available a day

Night Fishing Pass – £25pp (with your own tent)

  • Access from 12:00 midday to 12:00 midday the following day
  • One pitch included
  • Perfect for peaceful overnight fishing

    All lakes are well-stocked and regularly maintained.

  • Are the lakes oxygenated?

    Yes - our lakes are aerated 24/7 to ensure a healthy environment for the fish.

  • Can beginners’ fish at Rum Bridge?

    At this time, we cannot accommodate beginners unless they’re fishing with someone experienced.

  • What’s the difference between day and night fishing?
    • Both require pre-booking so we can assign you a swim.
    • For night fishing, bring your own bivvy, or book one of our lakeside pods or bell tents (subject to availability). Click here to check availability
