Fish care comes first as the banks continue to bake

As the temperatures continue to soar, I’d ask anglers to please – PLEASE! – have a bucket of water next to your unhooking mats. And to ensure those mats are wet *before* you bring your fish up onto the bank. (If you – really! – don’t have a spare bucket, please ask for one in the shop.) To minimise the time carp spend out of the water, you might also consider picking up a Wychwood NetStation before your next summer session.
