In line with the growing trend among hotel chains to market own-branded merchandise – bathrobes, towels, soaps, stationery and the like (items which might otherwise be… ‘misappropriated’ by souvenir-hungry holidaymakers) – we’ve decided to introduce our own range of Rum Bridge ‘merch’.
Our soon to be published digital catalogue and accompanying ecommerce store will feature a plethora of priced-to-sell mementoes, goodies and gifts which, experience proves, guests find particularly irresistible.
Just a few of the more desirable gems include:
* Unhooking mats (emblazoned with the legend “Property of Rum Bridge Fisheries”)
* Toilet rolls (full and part rolls will be available)
* Water buckets (cracked, but still perfectly serviceable)
* Eco-toilet bucket scoops (offered in a range of primarily colours, inc. the ever-popular green)
* Shower mats (non slip and fabric options)
* Path-marker tree limbs (great for creating really smokey bonfires – POA, subject to length)
* Eggs (pick your own – either direct from the chicken coop, or lakeside duck nests)
* Hand soap (part used dispensers represent particularly great value!)
* Weighing tripods (some surface rust; but you’d hardly notice, once they’re wrapped and under the Christmas tree)
* Landing nets and handles (why not treat yourself to a matching weigh sling – you’re worth it!)
* Washing up liquid (thoughtful and practical – what’s not to love?)
* Remote controls (our most affordable keepsake; select from heater and light options)
* Lending library books and games (great stocking fillers, for children and adults alike)
* Kettles (fire pit blackened, for authenticity)
* BBQ tools (ditto)
* Cabin keys (what better reminder of a great getaway?)
* Crockery and cutlery (mix and match, to fill any glaring gaps in your personal tableware collection)
* Bedding (your gran will adore our handknitted mattress toppers)
* Fish (fresh as it gets – POA, based on species and weight)
* Hand sanitiser (alcohol based; nuff said)
A comprehensive, not to say truly unique, portfolio of premiums you’ll agree. And one which – based on their habit of turning up in outgoing guests’ car boots – is set to prove extremely popular in these austere times.
