The standard system features a PVA mesh that is perfect for smaller PVA bags and exploding stringers.
The wide system features a great general purpose size for any carp angler and specimen angler.

  • Fine denier weave, ideal for use with maggots and pellet/powder combinations, ensures rapid melting in cold water conditions.
  • Anti-ladder and robust enough for all PVA fishing requirements.
  • Wide PVA = 35mm ø, Standard PVA = 25mm ø.
  • Each system is fully loaded with 7 metres of PVA.
  • The Double Barrel PVA System contains 7 metres of both types of PVA.

Standard Micro-Mesh PVA System

The new ‘Standard’ Micro-Mesh PVA system is the perfect size for making small ‘mouthful’ PVA bags and can be used with any dry feed (pellet/boilie/groundbait) or with PVA friendly particle baits.

Features a 25mm diameter PVA mesh mounted on a funnelled loading tube, that is perfect for smaller PVA bags, exploding stringers or when you need a more aerodynamic bag for increased casting range.

Also ideal for use with the popular ‘stick’ method of fishing with compressed ground baits, ground bread or crushed pellet and boilie.

Supplied with 7 metres of Standard size micro-mesh ‘All Season’ PVA.

The new ‘wide’ Micro-Mesh PVA system

Ideal for making slightly larger PVA bags incorporating any dry feed (pellet/boilie/groundbait) or with PVA friendly particle baits.

The more substantial bags can focus feeding around the hookbait for longer – or simply attract actively feeding carp onto your baited rig quicker as they create a nice little pile of freebies.

The ‘wide’ micro-mesh PVA system features a 35mm diameter PVA mesh mounted on a funnelled loading tube, and is a great general purpose size PVA system for any carp and specimen angler.

Each system features a strong outer tube, a funnelled inner tube and a dedicated plunger for compressing baits and aiding construction of tidy PVA bags.

The system is supplied with 7 metres of Wide size micro-mesh ‘All Season’ PVA.

The Double Barrel Micro-Mesh PVA system

Why carry two PVA tube systems, when you can just carry one system that covers all your PVA mesh requirements?

Includes both the Standard and Wide Micromesh PVA loaders, one stored inside the other, along with a dedicated double-ended plunger to ensure tightly packed and tidy PVA bags are easy to make.

Both ‘Barrels’ come loaded with 7 metres of Gardner‘s All Season Micromesh PVA (7 metres of ‘standard’ + 7 metres of wide PVA mesh).

PVA System refills

Gardner Micromesh PVA has a close weave, which means that it is ideal for use with most baits; from chopped and whole boilies to maggots, pellet and powder.

The PVA filaments used in its weave are fine enough to ensure a rapid, reliable break down even in cold water. Micromesh PVA is available in 7m or 20m refills in 3 sizes: ‘Narrow’ is 15mm, ‘Standard’ is 25mm and ‘Wide’ is 35mm diameter.

The ‘Narrow’ version is perfect for creating small aerodynamic PVA bags for long range fishing. They are also ideal fr making small ‘sticks’ of dusted boilie and other high attract powdered ingredients to reduce tangles and add a little attraction near to your hookbait.

The ‘Standard’ version is the perfect size PVA for subtler and smaller bags, a great benefit where range dictates the need for a smaller bag. Perfect for use with the popular ‘stick’ method of fishing whether with compressed groundbaits, ground bread or even crushed pellet.

The ‘Wide’ version is very popular with anglers that prefer to use larger PVA bags, ideal for focusing the attention of feeding fish on the area of your hook bait with a mound of freebies, whether they are tiny pellets; whole, chopped or crumbled boilies; maggots or PVA friendly particles.

Gardner PVA Booms

These versatile dissolving PVA straws have been manufactured for specialist carp and coarse anglers to use as a foolproof means of avoiding rig tangles. Whether your rigs are being cast out or dropped from a boat, the hooklink can be threaded into a PVA Boom to offer exacting control and guaranteed tangle free presentation. This is particularly useful when using soft, supple, tangle prone hooklink materials. Also in circumstances when rigs will be positioned for extended periods of time and you need to KNOW they are set correctly with absolute confidence that they will not be tangled. PVA Booms are available in three lengths, and they can be trimmed down to match the length of individual rigs perfectly. Shorter sections can also be used on the hook, pushed down the hooklink and over the hook eye to trap hairs in place. This is to ensure the hair cannot tangle during the cast or wrap around the hook shank. An important consideration if youre using rigs that maximise bait separation (like the KD), as twisted hairs can cause hook pulls. Another use for these dissolving straws is as a carrier for PVA friendly liquids, to create a focused point of attraction. This is done by injecting attractor blends, based on heavy liquid products like Aminol/L-Zero 30 or similar (amino based attractors) into the PVA Boom, and then sealing it in prior to casting by pinching the ends. Then as the PVA Boom dissolves, the liquid will be released, permeating the lake bed around the rig and keep fish feeding close to the hook bait for longer periods of time. This means the hook bait is much more likely to be sampled.

Solid PVA Bags

Our high quality solid PVA Bags are immensely popular as they combine strength with the ability to ‘lick and stick’ the corners to make the finished PVA parcels more aerodynamic for casting. These PVA bags are pH neutral and offer high melt rates across the temperature range making them ideal for year round use. They are available in 4 sizes:

  • Our Micro bags are the smallest size in our Solid Bag range. Perfect for deploying tiny amounts of bait. Length= 95mm, Width= 45mm.
  • The Mini size is the top choice bag for petit and subtle PVA parcels, for ‘in the edge’ angling and whacking out at range. Length= 105mm, Width= 60mm.
  • The Standard size is a superb general use size ‘solid’ bag; perfect for the majority of angling situations where a solid bag would be beneficial such as bags of pellet or fishing in thick weed. Length= 130mm, Width= 80mm.
  • The Magnum bag allows anglers to concentrate the maximum volume of free bait tight to the hookbait. Length= 138mm, Width= 110mm.
  • Reliably dissolves across a broad range of temperatures, including cold water.

PVA Tubes

  • Highly advantageous when using stiffer hooklink materials, such as skins or monofilaments, which cannot be packed down into a small bag without hindering the final presentation.

  • Elongated, solid bags, these are popular with anglers wishing to fish with a longer hooklink that is hard to achieve using standard shaped bags. They are particularly useful for fishing in silt or weed that could envelop a conventional solid bag presentation.

  • All solid style Bags are superb for encapsulating the entire terminal tackle along with dry feed such as pellet and crushed boilies. Their high quality solid Bags combine strength and a high melt rate. This means they are perfect for a multitude of uses in both the summer and winter. ‘Lick and stick’ the corners to make the finished parcels more aerodynamic for casting.

  • Length: 193mm, Width: 66mm.

  • Available in packs of 10 bags.
